Shade Garden

The house has this little corner in the front that gets mostly shade. We have transformed it into a dog shelter/ shade plant haven:

There are plants in front of the shelter so the dog doesn’t feel like he is being stared at. He’s shy.

This corner only gets early morning sun. By 10AM it is again covered in shade. In the back row are two English Thyme, some garlic and/or garlic chives, two Lemon Balm, German Chamomile, two flats of lettuce and in the front are two Spearmint, one Spider Plant, two Violas, and one succulent. On the ground in front of the shelter is Basil that has become a perennial (will be replaced soon), Star Jasmine, and Calendula Officianalis (Pot Marigold).
